The Frontier Local School District Technology Department strives to meet the technology needs of our students to best provide a 21st Century experience designed to support future college and career success. It has been estimated that 70-80% of the jobs our students entering elementary school today will have do not exist yet, proving that technology is one of the greatest drivers of progress.
We work progressively to provide the infrastructure, support, and resources necessary to encourage students to use technology as an every-day tool in learning. Using technology as a learning tool and a platform for productivity, rather than for entertainment purposes, is instrumental to student success. This has been one of the greatest drivers behind our efforts to accomplish a 1:1 device ratio for student Chromebooks. Additionally, we provide infrastructure, device, and technical support to staff, students as it pertains to district prescribed computer applications. Additionally, professional development services are offered to staff on a year-round basis to allow our teachers to become proficient technology leaders in their classrooms.
